HIGH PURITY HYDROGEN AND NITROGEN FOR METALLURGY
IDROENERGY nitrogen and hydrogen on site generators are largely used in metallurgy, where high purity and quality is required.

BRAZING
- soldering
- brazing for tubes and pipes
- Automatic brazing: due to their reliability and high working capacity, Idroenergy on-site generators are largely used with the automatic brazing machines
- conveyor brazing furnaces: idroenergy systems produce high pure atmospheres employed in conveyor furnaces for brazing applications.
HYDROGEN VECTOR: RENOWABLE ENERGIES
Hydrogen is the most excellent “clean” vector for energy. Steam and water are its combustion’s residues only . That’s why hydrogen is used for:
Fuel Cells
Car and Autobus filling stations
Metereologycal balloons
Power plant cooling systems
NITROGEN FOR DIFFERENT INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS:
CHEMICAL
PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY
FOOD
METAL INDUSTRY
INERTING
NITROGEN GENERATORS – PSA TECHNOLOGY
Nitrogen generators can be used for different applications requiring inert atmospheres, without oxygen content.
Purity depends of applications; there are:
- applications requiring atmospheres where oxygen content has to be few percent parts (standard purity
- applications requiring high purity atmpsoheres, where oxygen content has to be only few ppm – part per million (high purity atmospheres)
Applications:
Standard purity technical atmospheres (97-99%)
- Neutral inert atmosphere: chemistry, petrochemistry,
- Inert atmosphere for metal industry (welding protection for pipes and tubes)
- Inert and protective athmosphere for food (packing, tanks and bottles filling up – wine, oil)
- Hydraulics: pneumatic
High purity atmospheres (99,999%, dew point – 70 °C)
– Protective atmosphere: thermal treatment, iron metallurgy
- Chemical processes
- Food processes
- Pharmaceutycal industry
HIGH PURITY
No need to oversize plant to get high purity:
In case the customer needs a very high purity, the “grade” can be obtained through the catalytic
depuration, which is based on elimination of the oxygen fraction, with the use of palladium oxide,
successively the nitrogen is dried on towers of activated alumina which allows to reach DP between -70°C and -80°C.
